People do not want to be subjected to bad laws. Discrimination against human beings is an act that deserves to be condemned through legal action. Human rights are basic for every person- the Law guarantees them.

They were agreed upon by the United Nation’s General Assembly. This is the group of all nations in the world. They agreed to implement the agreement without discriminating anyone, even those who are not originally from their nations.

Human rights and civil rights have been advocated for a long time by activists. These are people who have dedicated their lives to pushing for what is best for human beings.

These activists usually operate as groups called rights groups. It enable them to have a solid force that can push even the government to put on hold laws that may be discriminatory.

Rights groups have been part of us for quite some time. Since the era of Malcolm X and Martin Luther King Jnr. These are people who stood against discrimination of certain communites. They believed that there was no right putting certain races under different laws.

Racial discrimination in the United States had hit the roof, and the action of human and civil rights groups helped a lot in getting the country back in order. It is the action of these selfless individuals that today we can say a black president has ruled the United States.

This is a fund group that operates in Arizona. It was started so that it could support the activities of the rights groups in the states. The group has been financing human and civil rights groups who are protecting the people of the state of Arizona from discrimination by other individuals and authorities.

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin started Lacey and Larkin Frontera fund. The two are media owners in Arizona. They have been using their media station to publish stories about human rights violations.

Their work has however seen them put behind bars although they appealed the case and were later released.

Lacey and Larkin did not come out of the courts empty-handed, the court granted them $3.75 million in settlement for their illegal detention. In the spirit of giving back to the community, they started the Frontera Fund to support human rights campaigns in the state.
